So it's been a very long time since i've put up a blog post, so apologies for that. I've just had a lot on over the last few months and lack of motivation just resulted in blog neglect. However, I plan to change that with 2016 right around the corner and by doing so I'm now going to share with you my new love...

Making the most of what is left...
Hey guys! So for today's post we wanted to do something a little bit more personal and different. It's been awhile since we've really done a post about our actual lives, so that's kind of what today is. Oh and before I start this post is also a kind of explanation as to why there has been a lack of posts recently.

MAC Brave Lipstick
hey everyone! It's time again for another MAC lipstick swatch post. This time i'm bringing you MAC Brave Lipstick. This lipstick had sat on my wish list for awhile and my sister struggled to get me it for my birthday so when my Dad said he was near a MAC in Budapest (August) I kindly asked him if he would pick this up for me, which he did so cheers dad!

Getting The Essentials September 2015 (Clothes Edition)
hey everyone, hope you all are ok! Today's post is a bit different from what I usually do as I don't normally talk about clothes i've bought. That's mainly because I only ever buy the odd piece and never enough to do like a haul post but anyways i'm sort of bringing you one of them today...

Current Go To Makeup
hey everyone! So as you can probably tell by the title and the pictures i'm back with another one of my look posts. This time i've decided to call it my current go to makeup look only because recently I have been drawn to this look a lot as it's nice and easy and I like it (for now). Usually I don't stick to a set makeup look or when I do stick to the same products it's because i'm at uni (so foundation, mascara and eyebrows, oh and lip balm). Also want to note that I have decided to include a step by step this time to be a little bit different...

Essence Haul #1
Hey everyone! It's been what seems like forever since I've spent some money on myself mainly because I was saving for a holiday but don't think that will be happening again this year but definitely next year. Anyway enough blabbing on about that back into the haul at hand...
Essence is a brand that I had been desperately wanting to try now mainly because I knew I wanted to pick up a lipstick (which I did) and from seeing other blog posts about the brand. So yeah I finally got myself into my local Wilkinson's/Wilko and picked up myself a few items.
The first two things I picked up were some lip liners. I feel like my makeup collection lacked in lip pencils so I picked up these two for £1 each. I picked up the shades 12 Wish Me A Rose (left one in the picture) and 06 Satin Mauve (right one in the picture). On first impressions I like these and think I might go back and buy some more so that I can do a little post on these for you. Elsewhere lip related I picked up a Longlasting Nude lipstick in 03 Come Naturally which cost £2.30. I'll be doing review/swatch post on this but so far I am in love and also now want to pick up the other nude ones now. So so gorgeous!
Lastly I picked up two of their mascaras which were £3.30 each . The first being the Lash Princess Volume mascara and the second is Lash Princess False Lash Effect mascara. I bought these because I thought the packaging was fun. As well as for blogging purpose. I feel like i've only ever done reviews on high-end mascaras so it was about time I do a cheaper alternative. So look out for those posts soon..,
So that is everything I got this time. I am 1000% sure this will not be the only Essence haul to feature on the blog. Let me know if you have tried this brand and what you like...
see you soon, han xo

July Favourites 2015...
I think it's about time I get round to putting up my July favourites post as I haven't done a favourites post in what feels like forever... ok so the last one I did was my April favourites so gained a few new favourites since then I think!
1. Eyeshadow - I have been loving doing my eyeshadow makeup and creating different looks! If I had done a different look post for every eyeshadow look I created throughout July I think there would of been a new post near enough everyday of July. I have also just realised recently how good these Eyeshadow Quads from Gold by Giles that used to be available from New Look but not to sure now. They have great pigmentation. This brings me nicely to my second favourite
2. Estee Lauder Palette - I have fallen in love with this palette! This actually came from a christmas set and I had totally ignored it up until July (my bad.. really my bad!). I love the eyeshadows in this palette.. so gorgeous, great pigmentation and just great quality. I particularly love the shadows sugar biscuit, tempting mocha and hot cinnamon. It includes a mixture of shimmers, mattes and what Estee Lauder call satin eyeshadows. As well as this the palette has two gorgeous blush shades. Going to be using this palette for a wedding i'm attending on friday so let me know if you would like to see what I create.
3/4. MAC Velvet Teddy/Maybelline Color Drama Lip Pencil in Nude Perfection - I decided to do these together as they are both nude based lip products which I have been loving both together and separately. Some days I would wear one the next day I would wear the other. On my lips these come of very similar Velvet Teddy being slightly deeper than the Nude Perfection. I will be doing a MAC lipstick post on Velvet Teddy shortly but if you fancy reading more on the nude perfection there is already an old post up. I would definitely recommend checking out this Maybelline lip pencil.
5. Clarin's Instant Light Lip Balm Perfector in 01 Rose - Oh my gosh this smells amazing! I don't really know how to describe the scent other than sweet but it's so good. Also so lovely to apply and my lips look plumper when I use this. As well as adding a slight glimpse of pink to my lips. Honestly such a great lip balm. I was so grateful when I was gifted this for my birthday.
6. Estee Lauder Double Wear Foundation - I'm not going to ramble on about this as I plan to do a review on it but oh my god this foundation is definitely my favourite to date! It's everything I want from a foundation. You'll find out more of what I think soon...
7. Urban Decay Perversion Mascara- I'm not going to ramble on about this too much either as i've previously done a review on our blog but this mascara is amazing! I had been using the lash sensational mascara by Maybelline for a bit then went back to this and was like so in love with it especially for bottom lashes.
8. Next Boutique Glam Eau de Toilette - I love this and I think it's under £10 or it is £10 for 30ml. I took this on holiday and when I did wear this it would last all day. It's quite a mature scent I would say but not like a granny one (no offence to granny scents). It's really hard to describe but if you are ever in Next i'd recommend giving the a little spray to see what you think. I think next do some lovely scents although some are equally not as good but definitely worth a check out.
That's it for this favourites post... didn't have anything really other than beauty/makeup related items this month. Anyhow, let me know what your favourites things were in July..
see you soon, han xo
Smile Brilliant - Emily's Experience
Hey guys so me and han were given the opportunity to try out the teeth whitening kit from the brand Smile Brilliant. I had never tried teeth whitening before so I was very excited to give it a go.
As you can see from the photo above it really does work. I was very sceptical at first because I have always thought you needed to go to the dentist to see noticeable results. But with this product I was seeing results in just a couple of days of using it.
Overall review
Pros
- It works! the photo proves this. and I am super impressed with the results.
- its easy to use, I was nervous when first using it because I had no idea what to do but the instructions are very clear and precise and make it very easy to follow.
- you get your own specific mould sent to you so it fits your teeth perfectly.
- there is not horrible tastes or textures which I personally was scared about before trying.
Cons
- I already suffered with sensitive teeth, but I did feel a bit more sensitivity then normal after using. however using the de-sanitizer gel does help.
- if you use it for a long time it can become sightly uncomfortable but its manageable.
Step one review
When you first receive your kit you need to send a mould of your teeth off so they can personalise your teeth whitening tray. ( which I think is such a great step because you feel like it is professional and that Smile Brilliant want to make you feel as comfortable as possible). It is very easy to do and doesn't take too long. You receive your mould back pretty quickly. I received mine within 7 days.
The main event
So although I have already given my thoughts overall on the product. I wanted to share with you my thoughts on the actually teeth whitening experience.
Firstly like I have already said it is very easy to follow. It would be very hard to get wrong. I used the gel before using the teeth whitening because of my sensitivity I found that this helps with overcoming sensitive teeth.
I also only left mine in for about an hour maybe sometimes and hour and a half but not for the maximum of three hours. I think han did two hours a day. But as you can see an hour worked great for me.
What I would say is that you don't need a lot of the gel or the teeth whitening product in the moulds. you should have some left over when you have used it.
And finally the moulds are easy to clean. I liked that they sent you a little box to keep your moulds in so they was kept clean and hygienic.
Overall I am very pleased with the product and would recommend anyone who wants to whiten there teeth that they buy this product. because most importantly it really does work and it is quick and easy.
Let me know what you think to teeth whitening
See you soon, Em xo

Smile Brilliant Teeth Whitening Kit
Hey guys!
Teeth whitening has definitely become more popular recently and definitely something both of us wanted to try, so when an opportunity arose to try out the Smile Brilliant Teeth Whitening Kit we knew that it was a no brainer and something we would say yes to! Especially for me (han) as I have made it one of my goals for 2015 to get whiter teeth.
Anyhow.. Smile Brilliant is based in America however they do ship their products which can take 10-14 days to receive but it only took a week for us to receive our kits (to the UK). PS we believe that it is free if you are in America.
So in the kit it contains 3 x base paste and 3 x catalyst paste which you mix together and then place in the provided teeth whitening tray to make your impression that you send off (which cost us £5 postage from UK to America) so that you can receive your own custom mouth tray.
Also in our tray included 3 x Whitening gel and 3 x Desensitising gel which you then begin to use once you receive your whitening trays (we'll mention more about in this process and results in our individual posts featuring later on our blog). Also included is an envelope, instructions and a form that you fill out which you send back with your impressions.
That's about it for this post nice and brief, if you want to find out how the process works we filmed a video of us making the impressions which is just below. Also in the next couple of days there will be a post from each of us to show our results! If you want any other information about Smile Brilliant e.g. pricing etc then be sure to check out their website www.smilebrilliant.com
see you soon, em & han xo
ps: we've included a video on how to create impressions, it's not the best, t's our first time ever making a video

Garnier Summer Body Moisturizer Lotion-Sun Kissed Look
Hey guys so summer is officially here and what I hate about the British summer, is the weather! we do not get as much sun as we would want , therefore tans are lacking. so us British girls need to improvise... and here it is!
I have always been a fake tan fan, but I had recently stopped wearing my usual instant one because it left my skin very dry and left a bitty texture. this made it look patchy and unnatural. I hated it.
So I thought I would try a moisturiser with a hint of tan to still have a bit of a tan for summer whilst also keeping my skin hydrated. well,,, I am glad I did! this product leaves you with the most healthy, natural looking tan! I love it so much.
I originally bought it for my holiday, I read on Michelle Keegans blog to use this after gaining a sun tan to keep your tan up ( which is such a great trick if your going on holiday!).
Now my natural tan has faded I am still using it and still absolutely loving it. Here are a few of my advantages and disadvantages...
Advantages:
- Leaves a lovely natural looking tan
- Doesn't have a strong fake tan smell
- Keeps skin healthy and hydrated
- Doesn't dry the skin out
- Non-sticky
- Quick drying
- It's not too expensive
Disadvantages:
- You don't get an instant tan it needs building up
And that's it! let me know what you think to this product. I highly recommend to all the fake tan lovers out there :)
see you soon, Em xo

Cocomelody Homecoming Dresses
Hey guys so for todays post I wanted to introduce you to Cocomelody. They are a dress company which offer the most beautiful dresses. I personally have really enjoyed looking through the different dresses their offer. Whether you are looking for wedding, prom or homecoming, Cocomelody will have the perfect dress for you. I have already seen about 5 I would purchase right away!
So today i'll be focusing on their homecoming dresses... Here are a few of my favourites:
The above are just a few of my favourite dresses from their 'short homecoming dresses' section. I personally love the variety their offer, there is so many different styles overing something for everyone Picking the perfect dress is so important and this website offers a wide amount of different filters to help you pick the one which is best suited to you and your style. My two favourites are the top purple one, it is so pretty. I also love the second black one because it is so different and unique and has a sense of elegance. However saying that all of the dresses are equally gorgeous.
The price is also extremely good for the quality of the dresses. For example the top three dresses in the image above cover a price range from just £63.45 - £146.77.
Their website is very easy to use and they don't just do homecoming dresses they also offer wedding, designers, bridal party, special occasion and accessories, so would definitely recommend checking it out if you have an event coming up...

MAC Lovelorn Lipstick
Hey guys it's been awhile since i've put up one of these posts but finally here is another mac lipstick from my collection... MAC Lovelorn is actually a new addition and isn't included in my old collection post which I plan to update after this goes up. Anyhow I had this shade sat on my wish list for a few months and my sister finally got me it for my birthday back in May, so thanks sis!
MAC Lovelorn is described by MAC as 'emotive blue pink'. I agree it is a blue toned pink and I am really loving this shade. I think it's an easy wearable pink and i'm slowly falling in love with it. Definitely see myself reaching for it more over summer. As for finish it's a lustre finish which I don't own too many of but I personally like them. A lustre finish gives off quite a sheen/glossy look and applies really smoothly to the lips. However they do require a few touch ups if you were to wear this for the day. As for coverage its quite sheer but build able.
Let me know if you are a fan of this shade or I would love to know what your favourite lipstick is...
see you soon, han xo

Makeup revolution- propaganda
Why I love this lipstick so much;
- Its long lasting
- Gorgeous colour
- It doesn't dry my lips out
- Easy to apply
- The packaging is gorgeous! I love the rose gold.
- Its so cheap!
Hey guys so I thought I would review this lipstick from Makeup Revolution. this brand is soo cheap and the quality of the products are really good. Han is the one who actually introduced me to this brand and I couldn't believe what good quality you get for your money.
This lip colour is my favourite for nights out, the shade is so flattering and really makes an outfit. I think on nights out it is more acceptable to wear really bright shades, but I would still probably wear this in the day time because I love it so much.
Let me know what you think to this shade?

NudeStix Magnetic Eye Colour in Gilt
Hey guys!
I still feel like i'm slacking with getting these posts up! I have taken loads of photos recently but just haven't got round to the typing part yet! But hey ho, here's a post for you's finally! So I got a NudeStix Magnetic Eye Colour in a Look Fantastic Box awhile back now but I thought I would do a little review sort of thing for you.
Firstly, receiving this in the box was the first time I had ever heard of the brand which excited me! I love trying things out from different brands. I was also a fan of the packaging looks professional in my opinion.. not really else to say on that front.
As for this product it's a crayon eye shadow in the shade Gilt. This shade is a gorgeous gold as seen in the pictures above. Texture wise it glides on my hand really smoothly but dries very quickly I found which means you have to blend it out quite quickly if not you'll end up a bit streaky. As for wear I found that as it dries really well it lasts all day without smudging and that's without a primer.
If you are interested in owning one of these Look Fantastic has this shade plus 7 others, retailing at £24 each. I would definitely like to try out the other shades but at that price I can't really justify it at the minute.
Let me know what you think or whether yo own any of these...
speak soon, han xo

Favourite Summer Dress
Hey guys! so instead of doing a monthly favourites I am going to do a favourite clothing item, it could be a dress, some jeans a skirt... anything that I am loving at the minute.
Today I wanted to share with you my favourite summer dress. this is from H&M and I think it was only about £10 pounds! which is so good because I absolutely love it and I think it looks great on,
Its great to wear because first its the right length, its not to short or too long. I feel comfortable knowing that my knickers wont be on show if I bend over or anything. And second it is so flattering! the stripes I think really shape the body in such a flattering way its not too tight, and it has a nice flow.
Most importantly it is comfortable to wear! which I think it so important because you want to feel comfortable. if you wear something too tight, or you just don't feel good init you wont feel confident when wearing. so from my own perspective it is the most important aspect when buying clothes.
Let me know what you think to the dress and also the idea of doing a monthly favourite piece or clothing or even an outfit?
See you soon, Em xo

Adorable Dog
Hey guys! so today is going to be different to my other posts, I wanted to share some of my favourite pictures of my dog George. he is literally my baby! and he is nearly 1 year old! its gone so quick. He was so tiny as a baby the first two pictures are when he was really young! (He was sooo cute) and the other photos are what he looks like now, he has just had his hair cut so he has been all pampered and groomed.
I am such an animal lover I also own a cat named Alfie. George is a cross between a Shih Zhu and a Lhasa Apso.
I hope you enjoy these pictures. let me know if any of you have pets? if so you will understand my love for them. I think a pet brings so much joy and happiness to a home.
See you soon Em xo.

Turkey
So as you may know we went on our first holiday together now like a week ago now and I (hannah) am still suffering from holiday blues? anyone else suffer holiday blues this bad. Anyhow we went to Marmaris in Turkey, which was both our first time and it was lovely. We were literally located in the best part possible. We were close to the beach, bars, shops and nightlife so there was always something to do.
Sadly we didn't take many pictures of our holiday as we didn't really want to take the camera out with us much! But we didn't really get up to that much it was a rather chilled week. Em did a bit of shopping and got herself a nice bag and purse along with some gifts for family. We also spent a day time at their waterpark. Which is honestly the tiniest Waterpark we've ever been too but still had fun. Plus helped our tan loads!
Our hotel was honestly so good and we were so happy with it. We went all inclusive and got a good cheap deal with everything included so we didn't have to worry about buying food out there. The food in the hotel was nice enough. Hannah literally ate watermelon all the time. As for drinks we literally had sex on the beaches every night (almost). The first night we arrived we sat down and the drinks didn't stop coming.. which was lovely of the bar waiter person sadly we didn't get his name. Also the bar tenders are so entertaining to watch so if you ever go to the SunConnect Grand Ideal just watch them they are so funny.
We don't really know what else to say? Sorry for the lack of photos. If you want to hear more about our holiday, leave any questions below and we will do like a question and answer post or something. Also wanted to say sorry for the lack of posts last week... need to get back into the routine
see you soon, han & em x
if it was cheap again we would definitely go back!

Makeup Brush Set
I haven't talked about makeup brushes I ages! I think my last post where I mentioned makeup brushes was when I ordered some cheap ones from amazon, totally worth looking into getting by the way more details here. Anyhow back onto these.. I was kindly gifted these as a birthday present from a friend back in May and i'm in love!
The are gorgeously designed with a grey metallic handle with an added gold touch. A great thing is that they come in a plain simple ivory/cream makeup brush bag, so great for travelling. I can't find this exact set online but Beau Belle Make Up Brushes 18 pc is very similar designed I think it just has a few extra brushes. Also all the brushes are really soft minus the brush on the eyebrow one. I haven't found any to fall apart which is a bonus. Also they didn't have a horrible chemical smell!

MAC Up The Amp
It's been awhile since I've done a MAC lipstick post so I thought it was time I got back into the swing of these. So here is Up The Amp...
Now I know this shade isn't going to be everyones cup of tea and a purple lipstick isn't the easiest shade to wear but I am totally in love with it. I love how the shade goes onto my lips and I have surprisingly found myself wearing this quite a lot mainly on nights out but I love it! It's an amplified finish therefore gives an opaque coverage. It's really nice to apply nice and creamy, no drying on the lips! I have found this to last a good 3 hours.
So let me know what you think to this shade, would you go for this?
see you soon, han xo

We're Going Away...
only for a holiday though!
We decided to book a last minute deal like a week back now, so we thought we would just keep you updated. Hannah has set up a few posts (3) to go up this week but apologies about the first two photo qualities in the posts these will be replaced when we are back.
So we have a question for you - would you like to see pictures / posts from our holiday? e.g. outfit posts, a review of hotel, or just the experience in general. We would love to know your opinion!
And we will see you soon aka in a week, em & han xo

Summer Skin Care Essentials
Hey guys, me and han are going away next week (so excited!) so I thought I would share with you my skin care essentials. I think healthy looking skin is so important on holiday and generally all year round. your skin stays with you your whole life you need to look after it!!!
So first, hair removal....
I use the Nair ones because I personally think they are the best. I have tried veet but I wasn't too impressed. I find that this one really does get rid of the hair and leaves your skin feeling amazing!
Then after I am hair free I think it is so important to mositurise. I cant stress how much I think this is so important all year round. Especially for my skin because it gets really dry if I don't. It also makes me feel all nice and pampered when I have moisturised. I use the coca butter one, it is a bit pricey for a moisturiser but honestly it is amazing! The best product I have tried ( and I have tried a lot!). First it smells gorgeous, it leaves your skin smelling like chocolate which is never a bad thing! And secondly it hydrates your skin for 24 hours and you can really see the difference in your skin after a couple of uses.
Next... is sun cream! A very obvious choice but the thing I love most about the one I have picked is it doesn't just protect your skin but it also gives a shimmer effect to make your skin look fabulous in a bikini! (there is nothing more important then sun cream). If you unfortunately burn it is important to always good to use some after sun to make you more comfortable and for it to heal better.
Smelling nice is always a plus! I love the Victoria Secret sprays they smell amazing and actually last all day. they are my new obsession I keep wanting more and more!!
See you soon, Em xo
The products I use are, Palmers Cocoa Butter, Nair sensitive hair removal and their bikini hair removal, Hawaiian tropic shimmer, Victoria Secret spray, Solait after sun.
