FOTD #1

Yet again I've decided to do another look post however this time I can't decide what to call it as it's not an everyday look I would go for, but would be nice for a day outing... so here's my first face of the day! 

So starting with the base I decided to use my Mac Studio Sculpt Foundation (i'm NW20 if anyone was wondering). I mainly used this because I hadn't in ages. I like it and it gives good coverage but it's not one that I would recommend as much now. I didn't bother with concealer or primer when I did this look, and I can't remember if I put any stay matte powder on or not. 

You may recognise this look already if you saw my post on Nicka K Colorluxe Powder Blush. The shade is in Mauve rose. I really like this shade as it gives a subtle blushed look. I didn't want to contour this time or use bronzer and think this gave my cheeks the right amount of colour. 

Onto the eyes.. I wanted to look a bit more dramatic but not like a smokey eye and most importantly I wanted something quick. All over the lid I used a shade from the Makeup Revolution Iconic 3 palette in particular the second shade from right. Then I used a black eyeshadow from the Makeup Revolution Disappear until Tomorrow Palette on both my waterline and my top lash line to make them look more dramatic. For mascara I used the Too Faced Better Than Sex mascara mainly because it gives me loads of volume. 

For my brows I used an old brow kit that I had from Makeup Revolution which is the Focus & Fix Eyebrow Shaping Kit. I didn't use this for no real purpose other than experimenting with it. I personally really like how I did my brows I made them look fuller and added more shape to them. This is definitely a handy little kit. 

Lastly on my lips I went for Mac Creme Cup as it just added the little pop of colour I wanted to my lips! Definitely one of my favourite lipsticks.
