Everyday Look #2

I hadn't planned to do this post or any other post today until I did my makeup this morning. After which I thought I want to do post on this look and I suppose it's been awhile since I did my first everyday look. 

So I started off with my face products and totally missed out using a primer or concealer today for no other reason that pure laziness. So I began by using my beloved L'oreal Infallible Matte foundation as it gives me a nice coverage without being heavy on the skin, although I did add a bit of Rimmel Stay Matte powder onto places such as my nose which needs a little bit more coverage. Then I used The Body Shop Bronzer in 02 to give me a little bit of colour to my cheeks and forehead and to add a bit of definition into my face. Basically a natural contouring effect. Then I decide to add a little pop of Benefit Coralista to the apples of my cheeks which added a little more colour and a hint of shimmer. 

Then onto the eyes and brows. For my brows (which I really need to get done) I used my Milani Brow Fix Kit which I am now obsessed with and just put used the darker shade to fill and define today. I'll be  honest I didn't give my brows that much attention today, so they aren't looking that great. Anyhow for my lashes I used the Too Faced Better Than Sex mascara. This was actually the first time i've used it so I was happy with the results, i'll be doing a review on it properly some time soon. Then for the eye lid its self I just put my MAC Paint Pot in Painterly all over the lid which I was going to leave as just that but then I decided to use my Naked 2 Palette to make my eyes less boring. So in my inner corners and towards the middle of lid I used the shade booty call and then for the rest of the lid I used suspect and a tiny little bit of snake bite to add a nice gold shimmer to the look. 

Lastly for my lips I just used a MAC Lipstick in Sweet & Sour (review/swatch post still yet to come). This is a very orange shade which I paired with this look mainly to match my top. However I toned it done a little bit patting it into my lips, so that the pink from my lips kind of came through as well.
