Night Look #1

Hey guys!
So finally i'm back and with one of my favourite types of posts! A face look.. although this time it's my first ever going out / night look... Just want to mention briefly say that i'm sorry for the excessive posing in the pictures for this look!

To create this look I started by prepping my face using a primer (mac prime + prime) and then applying some lip balm to my lips! After prepping the face I went straight to the foundation and I like to use my mac studio sculpt foundation on a night out as I find it gives a great coverage and lasts pretty much all night. After I had put my foundation I then used my collection long lasting concealer under my eyes to brighten that area.

I then moved onto contouring my face (kind of). I applied my seventeen instant glow tan cream bronzer under my cheek bones, near my hairline on forehead and the sides of my nose. Whilst talking about that the bronzer on the side of my nose wasn't as bad as it looks on the pictures. Also really recommend this bronzer it's so easy to apply and blends so well! I then added a bit of powder bronzer from my ELF contouring blush & bronzing powder in St Lucia just under my cheek bones to give more definition. I also used the blush shade very lightly to my cheeks to give a slight flush.  Lastly I used the makeup revolution vivid baked highlighter in golden lights on my cheek bones sadly the pictures didn't really pick up on this that much.

Again like my previous look post I used the makeup revolution focus and fix eyebrow shaping kit and used the darkest shade. I am slightly falling in love with this. I love how much definition it gives to my brows and really lasts!

Now onto the... eyes! I used my beloved maybelline colour tattoo in metallic pomegranate! I love this shade its so beautiful and definitely recommend you check it out. It's like a lovely burgundy/plum shade with gold shimmer. I applied this all over my lid and then added a black eyeshadow from my makeup revolution flawless palette onto the corner of my eyes to add a smokey look. I also used the pomegrante shade on my bottom lash line too. As well as this I used my soap and glory supercat eyeliner to line my top lash and added a slight flick. For lashes I applied my most loved mascara the lash sensational mascara by maybelline onto my top lashes and then used a sample of MAC false lashes extreme black onto the bottom, both give really great length to the lashes.... and as it's a night out I used some lashes which are the eylure pre-glued lashes

The last little touches were adding a little bit of rimmel stay matte powder onto my nose, chin and forehead and applying mac angel lipstick very slightly onto my lips as I didn't want too much colour.

That's everything for this look.. took me about twenty minutes with a lot of faffing about. Let me know what you think and whether you would like to see more of these...

see you soon han xo

  1. Gorgeous look! I love the eye colour so much - I didn't think I'd have a thing for a red toned eyeshadow! I might have to pop over to the Maybelline stand next time I'm in Boots though!
