Hello guys.. Today I thought I would share with you some bargains I recently found in one of my local TK Maxx store (Scunthorpe if anyone is wondering), although I have also seen the lipsticks stocked in my other local TK Maxx Store (Hull)... so i'm pretty sure they'll be in most TK Maxx stores whilst theres stock. So let's talk Ciate London Olivia Palermo Makeup..
First bargain I got was the Ciate London Olivia Palermo Satin Kiss Lipstick in Cashmere. I was supposed to pick up myself Truffle but accidentally picked this one up instead so may have to go back and see if I can find the others. Anyhow i'll start with the price: this lipstick retails at £19 however in TK Maxx it was priced at £5.99 so a complete bargain!
Moving onto the lipstick it's self.. The packaging both outer (cardboard) and the lipstick in my opinion is gorgeous, both black and gold details. The lipstick is a lovely gold design which isn't heavy or bulky and has the black Ciate bow on it's lid and Olivia Palermo printed on it. As well this the actually lipstick has OP and the bow carved in it which I think is a gorgeous little touch.
Colour wise this is a lovely wearable medium nude and is non-scented. As for application it glides on lovely and leaves your lips feeling soft, giving a satin finish to your lips. With regards to wear time I found it to last a good 3-4 hours on my lips. Now would I pay £19? Probably not as that's just too much for me, however I would definitely buy this at the cheaper price.
The second bargain I picked up was the Ciate London Olivia Palermo The Cheekbone Cheat Duo in Bluff Point. Now this is the real bargain out of the pair! This retails at £25 however in TK Maxx it was stocked at £6.99 which completely impressed me and was a no brainer I had to purchase it.
The packaging for this is hands down beautiful! The Olivia Palermo range definitely has pulled it out of the bag with it's packaging. This little black and gold compact isn't heavy or bulky so is perfect travelling wise and again the product it's self has OP and the Ciate bow which again is lovely added details.
As for the bronze and blush.. I am such a fan of the bronze it's not orangey rather a cool toned bronze with no shimmer. However it does go on very light I find, so would have to build the colour up more if you wanted more of a bronze look. As for the blush its a mid-pink and adds a lovely flush to the cheeks. For me though I need to work on it more as i'm not completely sold on it, but that may be due me not being a massive blush fan. Would I have bought it for £25? Nope, the packaging is definitely what sells this product to me.
So that's everything I got this time round from TK Maxx. I do wish I picked up some of the other shades from the range whilst I saw them in stock. However if you are interested in buying anything from this range, I did notice that my local Superdrug (Hull), also stocks this makeup for full price. Let me know if you've found any bargains recently...
see you soon, han xo
If you're interested in what makeup i'm wearing in the pictures other than the products mentioned include: Revlon Colourstay Foundation in Ivory & Lancome Hypnose Mascara.
I need to get myself down to TK MAXX, this collection is on my want to try in 2016 list and for such an amazing price I can't resist!
